Vision
Some 10 years ago, Brian A. Halverson had the vision of a technology service firm based on a time-sharing principle to serve the needs of small businesses who could not afford a full-time technology resource on staff. Some of the key components would take a few more years for technology to develop to the point to enable remote access, and later, cost-effective monitoring, before such a service would be affordable to a smaller organization.
Realization
While working through one of several Information Technology staffing firms, Brian registered the name ViaPulse in 2001. It would be two years later that he would voluntarily leave the IT staffing world to work in the business full-time in July of 2003.
Transition
Though the name ViaPulse was chosen to symbolize the synergy between the human brain and its electrical "pulses" and the computer, and its electronic pulses, and the expansion of creativew work that can result, the name was admittedly esoteric. Though the business grew over the course of five years, a name that was both recognizable and communicated the value proposition of the company was necessary. The name Expert Technology Services was chosen and in the Summer of 2008, the company gradually adopted the new name.

Today Expert Technology Services serves clients throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. Our client's industries include financial services, professional services, construction trades and retail, among others.
